2 scoops of vanilla plant protein powder
300ml of filtered water
½ ripe avocado
1 handful of greens (kale, spinach or lettuce)
1/3 rd of small cucumber
sprig of mint leaves
good squirt of fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon of pumpkin seeds + some for decoration
½ teaspoon of maca powder (optional)
Chia seeds (for the topping)
- Blend all the ingredients together in a high-speed blender until smooth. If necessary, adjust water content to suit your consistency preference.
- Pour into a glass to serve and sprinkle the chia seeds over the top for decoration.
Maca powder can be bought from various online health stores, including Amazon as well as high-street health food shops. As with all food, do buy the best you can afford.
