This delicious Berry Chia Parfait Recipe will hit the spot, whether you're looking for a quick and easy nutritious dessert, or you want to treat yourself to something more decadent for breakfast.
Despite their minute size, chia seeds are one of those not-to-be-forgotten superfoods.
Not only are they loaded with protein, fibre and omega 3, they also have this unique gelling ability, due to their soluble fibre content.

Berries are another superfood. And while their ripe taste will fool your body into feeling sweet-satisfied, berries are low in natural sugars
Together with some healthy granola for added crunchiness, this Berry Chia Parfait Recipe is one dish you can confidently dive into without feeling guilty.
Berry Chia Parfait Recipe
30g chia seeds
1 teaspoon raw honey (optional)
200ml coconut milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 tablespoons healthy granola (recipe here)
1 cup mixed berries
- Mix all of the ingredients together (except the granola and berries) in a small bowl and leave in the fridge overnight to set
- To make the parfait, layer in a bowl, sundae glass or mason jar half of the chia mixture
- Follow with half of the granola, then half of the berries
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 again to create a second layer
- Serve and enjoy
