My philosophy is about bringing you the absolute best on health, diet, nutrition and whole-body wellness to help you look good and feel great, keeping it relevant and honest as I go.
Wherever you’re at in mind, body and life, I can help you shift your status quo from your current situ to amazingly well. You’ll learn how to let go of symptoms that are zapping your wellbeing. Excess weight. Fatigue and lethargy. Bloating. Skin problems. Food cravings. Mood swings. Brain fog.
I’ve worked in the health and coaching world for more than 20 years. If you hadn’t already guessed, I have an insatiable passion for coaching people on how to love their body and unleash their potential.
Since graduating from the Functional Medicine University and Institute for Integrative Nutrition 7 years ago, I’ve run a myriad of workshops and worked with people, all over the world.
While I talk a lot about food, like exercise, it’s an integral part of a healthy lifestyle, but as I’ve discovered neither are enough in their own right.
Feeling that healthy, balanced and energised buzz from within and having a confident, content and intentional glow about life requires working with your mind, body and emotions, in a profound and meaningful way. My coaching revolves around connecting everything together to create long-lasting happiness and vibrant health.
Why I chose to specialise in health and wellness
Many years ago, I burnt myself out from trying to sustain a full on life – at home, at work, in relationships.. Can you relate to this? Because let’s be honest, the pressure on us to look good, perform in all areas of our lives, and strike some balance is modern day norm. In short, I understand where you’re coming from if you're struggling with life right now.
During this difficult period my health and lifestyle took a nose dive. I struggled with energy, concentration, sleep, bodily aches and pains, bloating, weight gain and at the other end of the scale - losing too much weight (yes it happens..), as well as the distress of poor health on my everyday life.
Although I recognise the value of conventional medicine, I've never been a fan of taking medication unnecessarily and prefer to treat the root cause of symptoms arising from diet and lifestyle illness. This approach to my healing back then (which in many ways changed my life for the better), and living a happy, healthy life since then, is personal and unique. And it's how I work with all my one-to-one clients. We are all different. While you might be grappling with a similar issue in life or suffering the same set of symptoms as a friend, what's preventing you from overcoming your challenges will be individual, and specifically linked to your beliefs, genetics, diet, lifestyle and life experiences.
How I stay looking young for my age (I'm told)
Ageing is inevitable. But looking and feeling young for your age no matter where you’re at on the maturing scale, is chiefly within your control.
My approach to youthful ageing is simple and comes from within. It's about embracing food, nutrition and whole-body wellness. To glow on the outside, we must first work on the inside.
As well as making healthy eating and nutrition a top priority, I make time for self-care practices to support my emotional and mental health. I’ve learnt that failing to do so is detrimental to my happiness in life.
I also believe that living well should be an essential part of your day. However you spend your time, it’s important to feel nourished and energised by life. Sometimes we need reminding when we’re caught up in the frenetic pace of modern living, that we only live once.

Nicola obtained her Certificate in Health Coaching from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (the world's largest nutrition school), where she studied more than 100 different dietary theories. She received her Certificate in Functional Medicine from the Functional Medicine University (a leader in functional medicine diagnostic training). And obtained her certificate levels 1 & 2 in Emotional Freedom Technique from the founding EFT Master, Karl Dawson.
Nicola is a member of the International Association for Health Coaches and having worked for 7 years at the world's leading professional body for HR and people development, actually providing employers with the information they need to create better working lives, she is also well qualified to run corporate wellness programmes.
